Unity Update: Awards, Growth and New Faces
There’s a lot happening at Unity right now, from exciting industry recognition to welcoming new talent into the team.
Here’s what’s new.
Meet Our New Starters
Our team continues to grow, and we’re delighted to welcome three new Unifiers to the business: James, Heather and Dominic.
Each brings fresh ideas, specialist skills and the drive to help our customers succeed.
📈 James Seward – Sales
James joins our communications sales team, supporting the growth and management of our customer base.
Coming from a farming background, he brings a strong work ethic and a mindset focused on discipline and continuous improvement.
Outside of Unity, James runs martial arts and self-defence classes and has trained in Traditional Ju-Jitsu for over 25 years.
And if he could master any skills overnight? Sleight-of-hand magic and card tricks.
📢 Heather Dunn – Marketing Executive
Heather joins Unity’s marketing team after graduating from Teesside Unity with a degree in Business and Marketing.
Her focus is on generating new opportunities for our Workplace IT and Bespoke Software services, developing campaigns that connect with the right audiences and drive meaningful growth.
When she’s not working on campaigns, Heather enjoys painting, arts and crafts, live music and long walks with her dog. If she could instantly master any skill, it would be learning new languages to make travelling even more rewarding.
💻 Dom Field – 1st Line Technical Support
Dom joins our technical team delivering 1st line support, helping customers resolve IT issues quickly and efficiently.
Having recently trained in IT, he’s excited to build his career in a field he genuinely enjoys and is eager to continue developing his technical knowledge.
Outside of work, Dom enjoys Magic the Gathering, although if he could instantly master one skill, it wouldn’t be card strategy… it would be cooking. His words, not ours!
We’re excited to have James, Heather and Dom on board and look forward to the impact they’ll make across the business.
Unity Wins Big at the VelociTees 2026 Awards
We’re incredibly proud to share that Unity has won two major awards at the VelociTees 2026 Awards:

Hosted by Tees Business, the awards recognise the fastest-growing companies across the Tees Valley region.
For Unity, this recognition reflects more than strong numbers. It represents sustainable growth built on long-term client relationships and trusted partnerships.
As our CEO Simon Scotchbrook said:
“This award reflects genuine, organic trading growth driven by customers trust us to support and evolve their digital and technology environments.”
Growth Powered by People
Achievements like this don’t happen by accident.
They’re the result of clear strategy, consistent execution and a team culture built on collaboration, accountability and innovation.
From winning new client relationships to delivering outstanding technical support and operational excellence, every team at Unity has played a role in this journey.
Thank You
To our Unifiers, clients, partners and wider community, thank you for your continued trust and support. These awards belong to all of us.
